The library
some shops and restaurants near my house

Places that were closed today:
the gym (including my locker with my running shoes)
all schools
all universities and colleges
some physicians' offices
parts of some highways, mostly due to downed power lines
most venues where performances were happening

So, after a full day of work, I got the newest "Pride & Prejudice" from the library, David Sedaris on audiobook, an older Patricia Cornwell on audiobook, and two Nancy Kress novels. Wish I'd been home today to read them. Better yet, wish I'd been at the gym all morning, then come home to watch movies/read/listen to books curled in the living room.

My roommate is due home tonight, but the roads are bad. I hope she'll be okay, or that she can safely stay where she is without losing pay.
