Finally the gym
Jan. 12th, 2007 04:20 pmThe UC (that's University of Cincinnati) has an amazing gym. Check it out for a tour. It's pretty awesome. I can't believe there's a climbing wall. It's the ultimate place to live.
Come summer time, after the half-marathon I just joined a class to run (okay, I still have doubts, since I haven't set feet to pavement in 4 months, but it's supposed to be a good training program), we'll see how much time I spend indoors. But the Flying Pig is at the beginning of May, and that leaves lots of summer for other stuff.
Speaking of not running, I just got a second shot in my shoulder, and I'm sure it's starting to feel better. Anyway, doesn't matter, I'm done with being lazy, and tired of feeling fat. No matter that my "weight" hasn't changed, my clothes are not loose and I know how to fix it.
And maybe I'll make some friends in the training class. Not everyone can be under 25, can they? (All my new friends are under 25. All my church people are retired. Where is everyone else?)
