Too much to do?

I am on two committees where I live, and that's two meetings a month. I am on the board of directors for the corporation behind ConFusion, and I am also on the ConCom (2 more meetings a month, and a bit of extra work). I have a meeting with a group of women trying to get pregnant once a month, drum class every Monday, and monthly meetings for the single lesbian social club I started. So that's really only 6 meetings a month, plus 4 -5 classes a month. And taking on extra work at least 1 night a month. It's averaging three nights a week that I'm trying to get to places that take up my whole evening.

I'm feeling like my days are rushed. I want to feel like I can run for as long as I want, even though right now I can barely make 45 minutes a day. I want to be able to take a long walk afterwards, when I feel like it, and not feel I have to rush somewhere every night of the week. I want to be able to ride my bike to work and not worry about the time it will take to get home, and how that will impact the time I have time for running before my next meeting. I want time to see C every day, even if it's just for an hour while we take a walk or read together, and have time to see her longer when possible.

Selfish bastard, aren't I? And where do you hear the room for a baby? I'm really wondering that, myself. As well as wondering which responsibilities I'm going to shirk, and which to shrug off entirely. I think my focus is changing away from service and more to self again. It's easy to give when I'm feeling lost, and better to keep things close when I feel warm and fulfilled. I'd rather be social than helpful at this point.

Meetings should be something fun to look forward to.
