Instead, between Saturday and Monday, I:
Ran 9 miles, biked 11 miles, lifted weights; baked 3 pies, baked two loaves of zucchini bread, baked blueberry gunk; ran errands and went to WF & PFC 5 times total; cooked an amazing meal with C at my house; went to a party at C's house and met more people than I really cared about, and some I do; slept more than 6 hours each night, a feat in itself; read most of a book, and including reading at the pool while C swam for an hour; and ate leftovers.
Overall, the pies are going to have to make up for the lack of work on programming. My house is tidy, my dog is fed, my cats are happy to have seen so much of me this weekend, and my laundry needs doing still. I got to wake up next to the most beautiful and surely the most wonderful woman in the world, twice. My weekend feels complete . . .
Yes, I feel guilty about not doing programming work. I feel fat and lazy. And I'm going to continue tidying around here, and do some laundry, and try to work off the guilt so I will start doing more about the convention when next I have some time at home.
