A perfectly golden day
Aug. 22nd, 2005 07:50 amDid you see it? Yesterday's weather was perfect. The sky was blueBlueblue with small white, puffy clouds. The breeze was not caressing so much as rubbing up against me all day. The sun was strong and bright.
And into that day I went, casually and with joy, to do some things I'd wanted to do: detailing the car, drying and repacking the camping gear, making some salads, listening to music, laying in the sun, playing with the cats.
As I went to bed, I knew that everything was good in my world: I was clean, my house and car were clean, I was fed and there were food and clothes for tomorrow, the cats were content.
I called L and told her all about it, and ended my day by sharing it with her. It was perfect.
