Work and Volunteering
Jun. 9th, 2005 08:35 pmIt's rare that I can accomplish much these days, so today can be considered a "good day."
I wrote a bunch of emails to people, meaning to me that I caught up on correspondence that I needed to begin for work and for the convention. I also made a bunch of phone calls that I needed to make, for the same kinds of things, for both work and volunteer positions.
I got to attend two meetings today. Yes, my boss is still a controlling person who doesn't like change or things that fall outside her understanding. Yep, my job is to make sure everything gets done in such a way that she understands things all the time, so nothing can seem to be "not understandable." So far, I am about 40% successful. Yep, my work life sucks.
On a good note, a phone call with my 87 year old grandmother confirms that Catherine is wonderful. So there's a bright side to everything. (: Even my blind grandmother could tell how great she is.
