Reading more than writing
Feb. 18th, 2005 07:53 amI feel like I'm lurking on LJ a lot lately. Work has been crazy, so I barely have time to read LJ, and no time to type. After work, I've stepped up my workouts. While still not running (that'll be a long while, still), I am up to walking 25 minutes every other day, swimming 35 minutes almost every week day, and working harding at lifting every other day. And less cheating at the lifting, so it's more than a quick, 20-minute lift. In total, my workouts are back to more like 60 - 90 minutes a day again, which is good.
I'm tired a lot, which is fine. I'm also finding time to sleep again, and getting at least 6 hours most nights.
I'm not cooking much more, in spite of Catherine's influence (sorry, Sweetie). I'm doing a slightly better job of seeing people, but still miss several friends. I almost feel like I should designate Thursday evenings as "friends" night, and do things like dinner with people I miss (
nubianamy and several others), or as a planning night for the convention or the charity program I'm involved with. All sound like good ideas, and time management is sounding like a good goal ...
I'm writing this while waiting for my allergy shot, actually. I currrently have 7:18 left on my timer.
Whomever you are who are reading this, I may have been recently reading your LJ. I may have even commented, in my head or heart. When I can (I'm off-line as I type, there is no wireless here), I'll comment again. I feel good that you are feeling good, sympathy for your lonliness, and can even commiserate when you're ill or down or busy. Sometime soon I'll figure out how to just quickly type a note when I'm thinking of it!
