trying to move on, really

I looked at an apartment. I called about 3 more. The point is that I am trying to get a bigger place and move forward with my plan to get kids, whatever it takes.

The car gets detailed tomorrow so that it looks great. The point is to get it spiffed up to sell, so I can get a cheaper 4-door. Anyone who wants to say that the old CR-V would have been great, feel free. If I still had it, that would be okay, but I would have missed out on driving the best car in the world for 10 months. We'll see what I end up with.

I am making plans in my head to go to the West Suburbs of Chicago and see my mother, who has started the last series of chemo. I want to see my grandmother, but I may as well see her, too, and say goodbye. I need to warn my brothers that I'm coming. The cancer has metastasized to her lungs and abdomen. I'll be going real soon.

Life keeps going.

You have so much on you right now. I wish you everything you need to cope. From what I can see (in this forum) you cope very well, but that doesn't mean it's easy... best wishes.

Friends from choir have volunteered to accompany me up to Chicago, and I've accepted gratefully. I have no idea how I made it through life so far without relying on people around me and asking for help.
