25 hours without power

talyenMy block is dark. My living room is candlelit. I sat with my neighbors outside, first with my housemates and then with my next-door neighbors, doing the city-without-power thing. It was nice.
Spending time with my neighbors was the best part of this. I hadn't spent time with M & M in a year, so that was great. And then got to chill with the Shawn and Kara and Gary and others from the building next door, and a couple canines, too. Tons of upsides!
Now I plan to fall asleep to the sound of the chain saw. I hope to wake up to feel of my ceiling fan. Soon!
