talyenI'll be singing 2nd soprano. Wow.
This is so awesome, it truly hasn't hit me yet.
[Edited to add:] Okay, it's hitting me. My life is about to change, and I don't understand how. It's a big change: this choir, my fourth this year, will take up as much of my time and energy as the others, combined. I will learn tons. I will learn from people such as Sweet Honey in the Rock. It will be awesome.
And I feel like crying, I don't know why. Am I happy? I am not sure.

Nope, the excitement hasn't hit me yet. It's still, "oh, gods, protect me from what I've done and keep me able to cope with all the new stuff that is surely going to gang up on me to overwhelm me in this most awesome of experiences."
